Allendale Lease

The Allendale area has been one of the oldest producers in the Illinois Basin, producing oil for almost 80 years. This area is located in the Allendale Consolidated field where the first oil well was drilled in Wabash County. The Allendale Consolidate field is a multi pay field with >1,300 wells completed accumulating 28,678,000 barrels of oil as of 2004 (Illinois State Geological Society Annual Report 2004). This area consists of multiple sandstone and oolitic limestone pay zones in the Lower Pennsylvanian and Mississippian age. Oil Production in the prospect area is predominately from the Biehl and Cypress Sandstones with additional production in 14 other zones.
